There are many things to consider when choosing a restaurant that you really love to go back again and again. The ambiance matters a lot, how the waiter and waitress treat you, the fast of service, the details of its decoration and most importantly, the food.
Whenever I dine in, I always give my first impression about the resto. If I like how everything is put into place, I would add it on my list of recommended restaurants, if not, then I wouldn’t care going back to the dining place again.
One of the restaurants that I would highly recommend is Zinc. It is a Rustic American Grill located in Ketchum, Idaho. It has opened its doors last June 10, 2014.
The very reason why I would highly recommend Zinc is because they have wide choices of palatable food that would surely satisfy your cravings. They serve steaks, burgers, chops , vegetarian meals and fresh fish.
Their trout is a must-try. It is so popular and is everyone’s first choice. My personal favorite is the Smoked Trout with water cress, lemon jam, and grilled bread.
Their Wood Fired Clams with roasted tomato, potato, garlic and Tabasco-beer broth is also a winner. It is my father’s choice and he wants to go back there for the sake of the Wood Fired Clams. The luscious Avocado Flatbread that is seasoned with radish, feta and sea salt is also a must-try.
And if you are in dire need of feeding your tummy in the morning, you should drop by at Zinc and try their Hot Breakfast Porridge with faro, figs, brown sugar, almonds.
I had a happy belly after I ate at Zinc. All the food are fresh and are well-prepared by Chef Taite. And the price? They’re all reasonable. The portions are fair enough for the price.
Service & Ambiance
The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and attentive. I have a thing for their trout filet and I was happy and very contented with how it was prepared. I personally like about the feel of the place with its rustic theme, the new fixtures, and the decorations including the little blings-blings on the wall.
I will definitely be going back to Zinc. I would even bring along my friends here on my next visit.
